SMS Messaging Terms & Consent

TxtBack provides an automated missed-call text-back and two-way messaging service for local service businesses (such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, and landscapers). When you call a business that uses TxtBack and your call is not answered, the business's TxtBack number automatically sends you a text message so your inquiry is not lost while the business is unavailable.

You opt in to receive SMS messages by voluntarily calling the phone number of a business that uses TxtBack. Businesses publish this number on their website, Google Business Profile, business cards, signage, and advertising.

• You look up and dial the business's phone number to request service.
• If the business does not answer, TxtBack sends one automated SMS from the business's number to the number you called from, acknowledging the missed call and asking how the business can help.
• By initiating this call to request service, you consent to receive an SMS reply and to continue the conversation by text about your request.
• That first message includes this disclosure: "Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

TxtBack does not send messages to any consumer who has not first called the business. We do not purchase, rent, or add phone numbers to any list.

Message frequency varies based on your conversation and typically ranges from 1 to 10 messages per inquiry.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you send and receive.

Reply STOP (or CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, END) to any message at any time to stop receiving SMS from that business. You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To opt back in, reply START.
